International hotel portfolio

FEC holds a strategic investment in Dorsett Hospitality International Limited, one of the fastest growing hotel groups in Asia Pacific.




The cornerstone of Dorsett's rapid growth is its ability to build, own and operate an international portfolio of hotels that serve different market segments.

Dorsett has developed four distinct brand identities to advance the Company's strategy of following the "Asian Wallet" strategy - Asian outbound travellers - and focus on the three to four-star hotel segment. The Company's brands include the “Dorsett” core brand; the contemporary and lifestyle-focused “Dao by Dorsett” hotel brand; the “d.Collection” brand, which features boutique hotels with unique identities; and the “Silka” brand, which are value-led branded hotels for streamlined and cost-efficient stays.


The Group creates value by developing hotels from conception to completion and beyond, selectively recycling capital by disposing of assets outside of its core portfolio. Following disposals, the Group has a proven record of successfully retaining hotel management contracts.

In April 2018, the Group completed the acquisition of Trans World Corporation (“TWC”), which owns and operates two four-star hotels and one three-star hotel in Germany, one four-star hotel in Austria and one four-star hotel in the Czech Republic (directly connected to one of the casinos in TWC’s portfolio), with a combined 572 rooms operated under the TWC Hotel Group.

Trans World Hotels (“TWC Hotel Group”) is, a subsidiary of TWC consisting of 4-star boutique hotels. It was created in 2008 to complement TWC’s casino gaming operations, which were rebranded as “PALASINO” in FY2022, in the Czech Republic. TWC Hotel Group built its first hotel, Hotel Savannah, adjacent to one of its casinos to create a resort and entertainment complex.

As at 31 March 2026, the Group owned 38 hotels with approximately 9,800 rooms, located in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, Austria and Czech Republic and has 4 hotels in the development pipeline. When all the hotels in the pipeline become operational, the Group will own 42 hotels with approximately 10,800 rooms.
