The cornerstone of Dorsett's rapid growth is its ability to build, own and operate an international portfolio of hotels that serve different market segments.
Dorsett has developed three distinct brand identities to advance the Company's strategy of following the "Chinese Wallet" - Chinese outbound travellers - and focus on the three to four star hotel segment in Asia. The Company's brands include the d.Collection, boutique hotels with unique identities; Dorsett Hotels & Resorts, which includes the upscale Dorsett Grand and mid-scale Dorsett; and the value-led Silka Hotels.
The Company creates value by developing hotels from conception to completion and beyond, selectively recycling capital by disposing of assets outside of its core portfolio. Following disposals, the Company has a proven record of successfully retaining hotel management contracts.
In the next 6 years, the Company will own approximately 42 hotels and the total room inventory will increase to approximately 11,000 rooms in Asia Pacific and the United Kingdom.
